Lilt

Hi Everyone,
I don't have too much to write about tonight, but I wanted to just check in with you all before I head off to Edinburgh Friday afternoon.

Classes have been going well and so has the internship with London Citizens.  Today I had a full English Breakfast to start out the day for my flatmate Andy's birthday.  After that I went to work and then went to my global citizens class.  Tomorrow I've got a meeting in Hackney at another school and then I get the rest of the day off because I worked on Monday!!!!  Best of all, tomorrow I will be going on my first field trip to the Globe Theatre with my Shakespeare class, which I'm really excited about!

I've officially gone two days now without eating a candy bar, that is a new record since my arrival here.  I'll keep you all updated on my progress.

I did see that President Obama has dispatched FEMA to Connecticut.  I hope I have a home to come back to in July!  Well, let me know how those Saturday classes work out UConn (if they actually do that, I don't know if they will, but we have been hearing rumors over here)!

I did have my first Lilt, and I dedicated it to my good friend Tom Murphy!
 CHEERS!

I can't wait to tell you all about my adventure to Scotland with all of my friends!

I hope you are all doing well where ever you all are in the world.  I'm doing well here.

-Stephen

  4. I thought Mr Murphy had drank all the Lilt in the UK when we were walking in Cornwall. You must have found the one remaining bottle. Have fun in Scotland, and make sure you have some Haggis.

Cannot wait to hear about it.

you are probably on your way to the Highlands by now, but in case you are still in internet world, I expect to see a photo of you in a kilt on the next blog. I hear the Pelletier tartan is quite lovely!!!
